A long journey

Preparing to go...

Allana drops me at NIST, so that I can have a look at where to go the next day... but they don't let me in! So, I spend one hour at a bus stop waiting ... (many bus stops don't have any other information that bus lines deserving the place); so I decide...

First day at NIST

The campus is quite big. It takes me more than 10 minutes to go from the entrance to the building 220, that is in the middle of the campus. I meet Ram Sriram at 9:30, and spend most of the day filling in forms, and going from one building to another for...

Avril: Les cerisiers du Japon en fleurs à Washington DC

Le 6 avril, on est allé sur DC, avec le "groupe de quartier" de Ben et quelques autres amis pour voir l'événement annuel: les cerisiers que le Japon avait offert à Washington DC, sont en fleurs... au Japon, c'est un grand événement, et c'est un des événements...

Et c'est reparti pour 8 mois!

Mon séjour en France (6 au 25 novembre 2007) je ne le décris pas. D'une part, je suis déjà assez à la bourre, et puis j'ai oublié ma deuxième raison... mais en gros, je suis arrivé à l'aéroport à Paris le 6, le 7 je suis passé à l'ambassade des USA pour...

Aujourd'hui (pardon, hier), mon dernier jour au NIST!!

Après 18 mois 2 jours (ou quelque chose comme ça), ça y est, le NIST a fermé ses portes sur mes pas. J'ai vérifié, je n'ai déjà plus accès au webmail!! Dieu fait bien les choses, j'ai fini en douceur... avec un dernier cours de danse :-) ... j'ai passé...

Visite des Moodys avec Amy

On est allé danser avec Amy, hier soir (dimanche). Un petit souvenir de son passage: Wendy a eu un petit Josiah, il y a 5 semaines... je n'étais pas passé depuis Novembre dernier! Amy a proposé de m'emmener... :-)
